Why Now

Now is a great time to invest for several reasons.

1. It's possible to get great value in prime areas.

Prices fell in 2008, and have remained broadly stable since. There is an expectation that proices will rise by between 5% and 10% per annum from 2012. The long term average over the past 40 years has veen 7% price growth per annum, on average.

2. There is very little competition.

Bank lending is constrained and buyers are less active. That's good, because it means very low competition. It's a time of great opportunity for investors.

3. The rental market is very strong.

There has been much press comment about increasing rental demand. That's what we are finding too. Almost all of our properties in prime areas have been pre-let! In general we've been operating to almost 100% occupancy. Rents in prime areas have risen by between 5% and 10% this year.

4. Overseas investors win.

The weak pound means that buyers from overseas get even better value. We've noticed a surge in overseas investors.
